Momiji tells a story within the limitless city. Which is separated from the outside world through high walls made from a higher power.

Those unique powers, also called the new laws, work exclusively within the city and create a peaceful life for its people. Which is why no one seems to have a problem staying within the walls, nor does anyone wish to leave the city.

Yet there are certain social tensions between the citizens. The Ventosas are humans with special powers that disrupt the new laws and, with them, the peace of the city. That’s why the Ventosas are criminals and outlaws that are being persecuted and pushed to the edge of society.

Aside from those problems, there are more inconsistencies that lurk below the surface…
